Stairs, Paint and Siding...what??

Well, this is a first...more than one thing happening at the house today....
We are so used to one trade at a time working on the house and taking forever! -- what a treat to see 3 different trades!

First, the trim carpenter was there finishing off the stairs (which are looking beautiful!) and a few other items.  Hoping he will be done today or tomorrow.

there will be carpet in the middle.

Then the painters were there caulking and cleaning, getting ready to paint once the trim carpenter leaves.   And now we are under pressure to pick the paint...more on that next post.  Aggh!

But the biggest surprise...two very nice guys getting ready to do the siding.  The siding will change the whole look of the house and that makes me nervous and excited at the same time.  They said it would probably take a week or more...I'll be holding my breath!

Our exterior rock work has begun...we think it's looking beautiful!

And the Doors just keep coming!

Who knew we had so many doors?  We thought we were keeping them to a minimum but sure seems like we have a lot!

Trim should be done this week and then the painters move in!  Yikes...we haven't picked the paint colors yet!  Agggh!

What a surprise, another month has passed.

HOWEVER...

we are told....

...things are now going to move quickly!

FINGERS CROSSED...

and hoping we can keep up!!



The 'trim' guys are working now...putting some fine tuning to the windows and closets.

Guest Closet ...tons of storage...guess our guests can stay awhile!
